Shah Rukh Khan reveals he has quit smoking on his birthday

New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan revealed on his 59th birthday that he has now quit smoking.

Shah Rukh Khan attended an event, “SRK Day” held in the Bandra area of Mumbai to celebrate his birthday where he spent memorable moments with fans and answered some of their questions.

Many photos and videos from the event have gone viral on various social media platforms. In one viral video, Shah Rukh Khan can be heard saying, “One positive change in my life is that I no longer smoke.”

He added, “I didn’t anticipate that quitting smoking would make me feel short of breath, but now I feel that way. However, God willing, everything will be fine.”

It’s worth noting that in 2012, Shah Rukh Khan faced criticism for smoking publicly during an IPL match between his team Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals.
