Latest News :- Congress made a lot of promises to the people during every election campaign, knowing that they would never be able to fulfill them. Now Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for exposing himself badly in front of the people. Mallikarjun Kharge posted on his X page, “Lies, deceit, fraud, dacoity and propaganda are the 5 words that best describe your government. Your hype about the 100 day plan is a cheap PR stunt. On May 16, 2024, you said that you had received feedback from more than 20 lakh people for the Roadmap to 2047.
Your lies were exposed by the PM's office's refusal to file a report on RTI query. Why is India's unemployment rate at its highest in 45 years? Why is there so much crowd where there are only a few vacancies? Who is responsible for 70 paper leaks in 7 years? Who snatched 5 lakh government jobs by selling PSU shares? Why did household savings fall to a 50-year low? How did the prices of tomatoes increase by 247%, potatoes by 180% and onions by 60%? Who imposed GST on essential food items like milk, curd, flour, pulses? Who is punishing the middle class by indulging in tax terrorism?
Your government has borrowed Rs 150 lakh+ crore in the last 10 years. Every Indian has a debt burden of Rs 1.5 lakh. Economic inequality is at a 100-year high. The average growth in the last 10 years has been less than 6%, whereas during the Congress rule it was 8%. The average growth of private investment in manufacturing in the last decade has been only 3.1%. Whereas during the Congress rule it was 7.85%,” Kharge said.
.@NarendraModi ji,
Lies, Deceit, Fraud, Looting and Propaganda are the 5 adjectives that best describe your government! Beating your drum about the 100-day plan was a cheap PR stunt! On May 16, 2024, you had also claimed that you took inputs from more than 20 lakh people for the road…

Earlier, Mallikarjun Kharge, who addressed the media in Bengaluru, said that he has warned state Congress leaders not to make too many promises in the Maharashtra Assembly elections despite financial resources, and you should promise only as much as you can. . He also said that he should not announce 5, 6, 10 or 20 guarantees.
Criticizing this, Prime Minister Modi said on his X page, “The Congress party has realized that it is easy to make false promises, but it is difficult or impossible to implement them properly. They make a lot of promises to the people during every election campaign, even knowing that they can never fulfill them. Now, people have been badly exposed,” he had said.
