This is a national pension scheme. The scheme aims to benefit small and marginal farmers. For this scheme, farmers have to invest only Rs 55 every month and after crossing the age of 60 years, they are given Rs 3,000 every month. Please note that no processing fee is charged for joining this scheme. If you want to leave the scheme after some time then the amount you have contributed will be returned to you along with interest.
If you want National Pension Scheme Scheme, Employees State Insurance Corporation Scheme. If you are taking benefit of any scheme like Employees Provident Fund Scheme or come under its purview, then you will be deprived of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana. Apart from this, the farmers who have opted for the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana run by the Ministry of Labor and Employment cannot avail the benefits of this scheme.
The benefit of this scheme is also not available to those people who are availing the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Laghu Pradhan Maandhan Yojana of the Ministry of Labor and Employment or have been selected for it. Even people with good financial condition are deprived of this scheme. The more you deposit under this scheme, the more pension you will get. Farmers who have more than two hectares of land, or whose annual income is more than Rs 18 lakh, will not get the benefit of this scheme. To avail the benefits of this scheme, you will have to contribute regularly.
