New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission will start the SSC General Duty (GD) constable recruitment 2025 application correction process today, November 5. The SSC GD 2025 application correction link will remain active for three days till November 7. Candidates can make the necessary changes in the form through the official website, ssc.gov.in.
The SSC GD Constable 2025 application correction processing fee is Rs 200 for the first one which candidates need to pay irrespective of their category. However, for any additional corrections, one needs to pay Rs 500 and then submit the form.
SSC GD 2025 Application: Details that can be edited
In the SSC GD 2025 application form the below details can be edited-
- Name of the candidate
- Date of birth
- Father’s name
- Mother’s name
- Correspondence address
- Category of the candidate
- Differently abled status of the candidate
- First choice of the exam centre
- Name of the institute
The SSC GD 2025 exam will likely be conducted in January or February 2025. The recruitment exam is held nationwide annually to select candidates for various posts such as Constable (General Duty) in the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and others. To get shortlisted candidates need to qualify for all of the stages which include a Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and a medical exam.
The recruitment drive will fill a total of 39,481 vacancies. Out of the total vacancies, 35,612 posts are reserved for male candidates and 3,869 posts are reserved for female candidates.
Salary of SSC GD 2025
Candidates who will be recruited for the post of GD Constable will receive a salary between the range of Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100. The Salary will also include perks and benefits such as security, risk allowances and field allowances.
