Makhana Uttapam Recipe

Material

  • 1 bowl makhana
  • 1 cup poha
  • 1 cup semolina
  • 2 cups curd
  • half cup finely chopped onions
  • half cup chopped capsicum
  • 2 spoons corn
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped green coriander leaves
  • 1 finely chopped tomato
  • 4-5 chopped green chillies
  • ½ teaspoon ginger
  • salt as per taste

method of making

  • To make Makhana Uttapam, first mix makhana, poha and semolina in a bowl.
  • Then add 2 cups of curd in it and keep it covered for 30 minutes.
  • After half an hour put this mixture in a mixer. Add ginger, green chilli and salt and blend it.
  • If the solution becomes too thick, you can dilute it by adding a little water.
  • Then take out this solution in a bowl. Now add finely chopped onion, capsicum, tomato and coriander leaves and mix.
  • Now heat a non-stick pan on the gas. Then spread oil on it. Now pour the prepared mixture with the help of a ladle.
  • After this, add chopped vegetables and grated cheese and let it cook.
  • When one side is cooked, turn it and cook the other side.
  • Makhana Uttapam is ready. Serve hot uttapam with chutney.
