Thailand OKs indefinite visa-free entry for Indians (2024): Top places to explore
New Delhi: In an exciting update for Indian tourists, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced a visa-free entry policy for Indian travellers, now effective indefinitely. Initially planned to conclude on November 11, 2024, this policy allows Indian visitors to enjoy an extended stay in Thailand, with up to 60 days of visa-free travel and the option to extend by an additional 30 days. For extension, visitors will have to apply at a local immigration office.
This opens up Thailand’s top destinations, making it easier for Indian travellers to immerse themselves in the rich culture, beautiful landscapes, and lively urban experiences.

This updated policy aims to offer greater convenience and flexibility, encouraging more Indian travellers to experience the country’s rich culture, scenic landscapes, and vibrant cities. Now it has become easier for Indian travellers to visit the country hassle-free and enjoy th rich culture and heritage without the worry of a visa. The visa-free entry policy started last year on November 10 and was to end on May 10. But later got extended by the government from May 11 to November 11.
