Recently, she faced a lot of trolling when she defended Abhishek Bachchan through a clip from his show amid the news of his separation from Aishwarya Rai.

The news of separation of Aishwarya and Abhishek is in full swing on social media. Meanwhile, Simi has put herself in the circle of trolling and hatred by taking the side of Abhishek Bachchan. A section of people are accusing Abhishek Bachchan of infidelity. Although neither Aishwarya nor Abhishek commented on these claims and rumours, Simi Grewal shared a clip of the interview on Instagram. He defended Abhishek and called him the 'nicest man' in Bollywood. However, this caused a lot of resentment between Abhishek and Simi and later Simi deleted the post from her Instagram.

When an Instagram account named Jagruk Janta posted a video and accused Amitabh Bachchan of ignoring the achievements of his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and praising everyone else in the family. Simi could not keep herself calm on these claims and commented on the post. ki there is nothing like that. Bachchan family is not like that.
