Latest News :- The Karnataka High Court has granted interim bail to Kannada actor Darshan, who was arrested and jailed in a murder case. Bail was granted on medical grounds. Popular Kannada actor Darshan was arrested last June in connection with the kidnapping and murder of his fan Renuka Swamy, who had insulted her friend and actress Pavitra Gowda on social media.
Pavitra Gowda, Darshan's friend, fan club president and bouncers were arrested in this case. Darshan was lodged in Bengaluru's Parappana Agrahara Central Jail. The pictures of the luxury facilities he got there became controversial on social media. Subsequently, he was shifted to Bellary jail last August. In this case, a bail petition was filed by Darshan in the Karnataka High Court.
In which it was said that he was going to receive medical treatment for spinal cord damage. The medical report of the neurosurgeon of Vijayanagar Medical Institute was also kept in it. Based on that, the High Court has granted him interim bail for a period of six weeks. Justice Vishwajit passed the order. It is noteworthy that the bail petition already filed by Darshan demanding his release from this case is pending in the court.
