Will Hrithik Roshan bounce back in War 2?
The first part of War featured Tiger Shroff which made a worldwide business of nearly Rs 400 crore. Later due to the pandemic, Hrithik Roshan’s aura was nowhere seen on big screens with a great box office collection except for Vikram Vedha and his last released film, Fighter featuring Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, and others.
Looking forward Hrithik Roshan’s dry run in Bollywood may come to an end as the actor is set to deliver high-octane drama alongside Jr NTR. These two actors sharing screens can create history at the box office, with Jr NTR’s screen presence the film will have the advantage of releasing pan-India, and War 2 will be the perfect film for Hrithik Roshan to bounce back on top.
Looking at previous box office numbers of Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan combined, it can be predicted that War will be in a position to star with an impressive collection of Rs 180 crore or even higher. Hrithik’s previous film opened with Rs 50 crore and Jr NTR’s Devara Part 1 had a decent opening of Rs 80 crore, combined these two actors can deliver a mega show.
Talking about other factors of War 2, what else can make the film open at Rs 200 crore is the franchise value, especially the spy universe introduced by YRF. The film is expected to have special cameos which are yet to be revealed, this adds more value to the film. War 2 can fetch decent numbers of Rs 40-60 crore or even more on day one.
