Maruti revealed this vehicle in the motor show held in Milan city of Italy. Maruti has already introduced its production spec version eVX concept at the Auto Expo in India. E-Vitara can be brought in India with some other name, but the basic concept look of this vehicle will be bigger than a 4-meter SUV. This vehicle is going to come with a length of 4,275 mm.
Design of Maruti e Vitara
The look of Maruti e Vitara is quite different from the Grand Vitara. This electric car is based on Heartect e-platform. Sharp DRLs are installed in the front of this vehicle, a blanked off grille has been installed. 19-inch alloy wheels have been used in the top-end version of this electric car. Whereas its standard plus variant has 18-inch alloy wheels. In Maruti e-Vitara, the door handles found in the previous Swift have been installed in this vehicle.
Maruti's electric car interior
The interior of the EV introduced in the global market by Maruti is quite spacious. The dashboard design has been kept different in Maruti e-Vitara. This vehicle has a new 2-spoke steering wheel. There is a twin screen layout and a new drive selector is also provided. Maruti's electric car also has a wheel base of 2700 mm.
e Vitara's power and range
The standard version of Maruti e Vitara has a single front motor, which has a 49 kWh battery pack. It provides power of 142 bhp and generates torque of 189 Nm. This electric car of Maruti also comes with a big battery pack. This vehicle has a dual motor with a battery pack of 61 kWh, which provides power of 180 bhp and torque of 300 Nm.
When will Maruti's electric car arrive?
The Japanese automaker's electric car can be produced in Suzuki Motor Gujarat in India in the year 2025. This car can come with Nexa sales outlets. This could be Maruti's most premium car. This electric car of Maruti can give tough competition to Tata Curve EV, Mahindra BE and Hyundai Creta EV.
