When Punjab Kings released her, Arshdeep Singh did this, now Preity Zinta will never return to the team!
Sports Desk, Obnews: All IPL teams have released their retention lists on 31st October. Where many teams have surprised people by releasing their brilliant players. Arshdeep Singh of Punjab Kings is also in the release list. After which it was believed that Punjab could include Arshdeep in its team through RTM, but now this hope is also over.
Actually, before the IPL 2025 mega auction, Arshdeep Singh has unfollowed Punjab Kings on Instagram. Relations between the two parties seem to be deteriorating as Arshdeep has not only unfollowed Punjab's account but has also deleted every post that shows his connection with PBKS in any way.

According to reports, the mega auction is scheduled to be held on November 24-25 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, before that, Arshdeep's actions suggest that Punjab is not going to buy him using the Right to Match card under any circumstances. Arshdeep Singh made his IPL debut in 2019 while playing for Punjab Kings. He has played 65 matches for this team so far, in which he has 76 wickets in his name.

Recently it was also rumored that the management of Punjab Kings does not believe that Arshdeep deserves to be retained for Rs 18 crore. It was also said that Arshdeep could have been bought in the auction for much less than Rs 18 crore, hence he was not retained. Well, whatever the rumours, Arshdeep unfollowing Punjab Kings on social media is a clear indication that he may be seen playing for some other team in the next season.
