Air Force's MiG-29 crashes in Agra, plane falls in field, catches fire, pilot and co-pilot safe
On Monday, an Air Force MiG-29 aircraft crashed in the fields in Agra district of Uttar Pradesh. A fire broke out in the fields three kilometers away from Bagha Soniga village in Kagaraul area of the district as soon as the plane fell. After the plane crashed, Payale, his pilot and co-pilot escaped from the plane with the help of parachute. It was told that Air Force exercise was going on in Gwalior, from where the plane had taken off.
According to the information received, the Air Force's MiG-29 aircraft crashed in Kagaraul area on Monday evening after taking off from Gwalior airbase. When the plane crashed, both the drivers landed safely by parachute. The plane fell in the fields outside the village, about three kilometers away from them, and burst into flames.
The incident occurred at four o'clock on Monday evening. People of village Bagha Songa of Kagraul saw an Air Force plane falling in the fields on Monday evening. Hundreds of people from nearby villages reached there. By then flames started rising from the plane.
The villagers also saw two pilots landing with parachute. He says that both the pilots have landed safely at a distance of about three kilometers from the accident site. The Air Force team is reaching the spot.
