Jammu, 5 November (Hindustan Reporter). In a spirited effort to promote sportsmanship and youth engagement, the Army has launched the Sub-Late Ajay Singh Volleyball Tournament at Thanamandi, Rajouri. This dynamic program organized under Operation Sadbhavana aims to encourage the local youth to take up sports while honoring the legacy of Sub-Late Ajay Singh.
A total of eight teams comprising 112 enthusiastic players from nearby areas are participating in the tournament showcasing their skills and competitive spirit. The program serves as a platform for young players to develop teamwork, discipline and athletic abilities while promoting unity and camaraderie within the community.
This tournament not only promotes sports but also strengthens the strong bond between the Indian Army and the local residents which contributes to a harmonious and connected community.
