BSP supremo Mayawati welcomed the Supreme Court's decision on UP Madrasa Education Board Act-2004.

Lucknow. The Supreme Court has upheld the constitutional validity of the 'Uttar Pradesh Madrasa Education Board Act 2004'. BSP supremo Mayawati's statement has come after this decision of the Supreme Court. He said, in an important decision today, the Supreme Court welcomed the decision of declaring the UP Madrasa Education Board Act-2004 as valid and constitutional. With this, the controversy arising out of Madrasa education in UP and the uncertainty of thousands of Madrasas is now definitely likely to end. It is important to implement this properly.

He further wrote on Social Media The court said that the provisions of the Madrassa Act are in line with constitutional values ​​and protect the educational rights of religious minorities.

Also, the decision of the 9-judge bench of the Supreme Court not to consider every private property as part of community property under Article 39(B) of the Constitution and to stop its acquisition is also welcomed.
