In another match of Pool D, Hockey Karnataka defeated Hockey Chandigarh 5-1. For Karnataka, Mohammed Raheel Mousin (41', 48') scored two goals while Surya NM (10'), Bharat Mahalingappa Kurtakoti (19') and Manjeet (59') also scored. Sunil (29') scored the only goal for Hockey Chandigarh. In a match of Pool H, Hockey Bengal defeated Assam Hockey 10-0. Roshan Kumar (10', 12', 30') led the attack with a hat-trick while captain Rajendra Oram (4', 58') scored two goals. Avoy Ekka (19'), Alsem Lakra (20'), Milan Saha (31'), Sunil Jojo (41') and Nitish Neupane (48') also got their names on the scoresheet.
In Pool C, Hockey Andhra Pradesh defeated Hockey Andaman and Nicobar 13-0. Lekalla Hitesh Rao (13', 15', 21', 41', 48', 55', 56') performed brilliantly and scored seven goals. Other scorers included Rayudu Veera Venkat Rahul Prannoy (5'), K Harsh Kamal Teja (6'), Galla Shiva Pramod (30'), Tatiparthi Aron Saroj Anand Raj (33'), Maddimani Rajesh (38') and Venu Gorela Gopal. (49') were included.
In the last match of the day, Hockey Madhya Pradesh played a 2-2 draw against Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu in the Pool C match. Luv Kumar Kanojia (35') and Akshay Dubey (42') gave Hockey Madhya Pradesh a 2-0 lead. However, Selvaraj Kanagaraj (42') reduced the gap, but Shanmugavel S (53') scored the equalizer in the dying moments. (ANI)
