At present, this segment is dominated by Ola Electric, Bajaj Electric, TVS, Ather Energy and people are waiting for some new players including Honda, Suzuki. Currently, these brands are selling their EV scooters at different prices in the country. However, there are some names that we may soon see running on the streets. These also include new models of Honda and TVS. Some of these are expected to launch in the first half of 2025. The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is around the corner, where many of these models can be seen live by interested e-scooter customers. Here we are mainly giving all the information revealed so far about those three electric two-wheelers, which are one of the most awaited launches in the coming months.

Honda Activa EV
Honda Motors' first electric scooter, Honda Activa EV is expected to be launched in the Indian market in March 2025. Honda Activa EV is expected to be launched as the electric version of Activa 110. In such a situation, its overall look may match with Activa 110 with changes in some design elements. It may have two Honda Mobile Power Packs, which can be detached and swapped. The scooter may also get an on-board fully digital touchscreen instrumental console, keyless start and stop feature. Its range is expected to be 100+ kilometers on full charge.

Expected price in India
The price of the upcoming Honda electric scooter is expected to be around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom). This scooter can compete with Ola S1, TVS iQube and Ather 450. Honda Activa EV is expected to be unveiled at the India Mobility Global Expo to be held in New Delhi in January next year.

TVS Jupiter EV
TVS's next electric scooter may enter India in the next six months in the form of Jupiter EV. Apart from this, the company is expected to launch another electric scooter model, the name of which has not been revealed yet. According to multiple reports, the brand may launch electric vehicles for the B2B market. At the same time, Jupiter EV can be an electric version of the existing Jupiter.

Specifications
Jupiter EV is expected to sell extensively in the market, as the existing petrol version is also quite popular and thousands of its units are sold every year. The range of this two-wheeler on full charge is expected to be 70-80 kilometers. The e-scooter is expected to be priced under Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom).

Suzuki Burgman EV
According to Gaadiwad, the first electric scooter from the Japanese automobile manufacturer could be none other than the Burgman EV. The scooter is expected to enter the production phase in December 2024. Suzuki has also reportedly set an annual sales target of 25,000 units for the Burgman EV.

The two-wheeler is expected to get a fixed battery pack instead of a detachable battery pack, as seen in earlier spy photos. At present, not much information has been revealed about this two-wheeler. This e-scooter, codenamed XF091, is expected to be launched at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025 in January next year. There is no information yet about the price of the scooter.
