This feature will work just like Google's reverse image lookup tool. Not only this, the user will also get the option to search the web before sending the image.
Beta users on Android open the app after downloading the latest update. After selecting the image, tap on three dots, after which they will get the option to search the image on the web. This reverse image lookup tool of WhatsApp can serve as a powerful weapon to stop rumours.
