Kamala lags behind in the White House race, Trump makes a dent in 'swing states', comes close to majority
Washington: Counting of votes for the presidential election is going on in America and within some time America will get its new President. There is a tough contest here between Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump, but Kamala Harris now seems to be lagging behind in this race. In the Electoral College counting trends, Kamala Harris is stuck on 214 seats, while Donald Trump has taken the lead on 251 seats. That means now Trump needs only 19 more seats to reach the magic number 270.
Yes, Donald Trump is now leading in 251 electoral votes in the projection results and is just 19 seats away from the majority mark of 270. Whereas Kamala Harris is leading at 213.

Earlier, former US President Donald Trump won in the swing state Georgia. With this victory of Trump, 16 electoral college votes came back into the hands of the Republican Party. 'Swing' states are those where voter opinion keeps changing.
