Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Skincare Regime
In an older interview, the actress shared her skincare routine. She says, she is like every other Indian woman. She keeps it simple and tries to adhere to it dedicatedly and consistently. Speaking with he Harper’s Bazaar earlier, she said, “You should own your individuality…Celebrate it, be yourself… And each to their own. If it’s not your cup of tea, don’t do it!”
“I’m every woman – we are all racing against time; you’ve got to get up and just get on with the day,” she says. “So I think the easiest thing and the most effective thing is staying hydrated and hygienic. Be clean!,” the actress added.
“It’s very simple, actually. I’m every woman – we are all racing against time; you’ve got to get up and just get on with the day. So I think the easiest thing and the most effective thing is staying hydrated and hygienic. Be clean! You have to be clean to begin with. So when all these things are rooted in the right place, you’re already on a positive start. Because, like I said before, it comes from the inside out. You need to be clean, you need to be hydrated and then the outside will look after itself.
Emphasising on the need to embrace one’s’ own being, Bachchan is all keeping it simple. She believes in moisturising and keeping the skin hydrated. “Moisturising has also become a way of life because I started working really early, so it’s become routine. It’s important. So whether it’s a career day, whether I’m working in cinema for the day or not, moisturising at the start and end of the day is natural for me.”
Why is hydration and moisturisation important? It helps in strengthening the skin’s structure and function as well. A healthy and hydrated skin furnishes one with better elasticity, lowers wrinkle and brings a natural radiance on the skin.
