Ingredients to make Paneer Biryani
Basmati rice – 3 cups
Paneer – 1/2 kg
Cashew paste – 1 cup
Onion chopped into pieces – 1 cup
Onion finely chopped – 1
Almonds – 10
Butter – 2 tbsp
Desi ghee – 4 tbsp
Tomato puree – 1 cup
Green chilli chopped – 3
Ginger chopped – 1 tablespoon
Garlic – 5 cloves
Mint leaves – 1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tablespoon
Cinnamon – 2 pieces
Green Coriander – 1 tablespoon
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Tandoori Masala – 1 tsp
Large cardamom – 4
Green cardamom – 6
Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt – as per taste
How to make Paneer Biryani
To make Paneer Biryani, first take rice, wash it and boil it. After this, cut the cheese into pieces and keep it in a bowl. Now put ghee in a pan and let it heat on medium flame. When the ghee gets hot and melts, add paneer pieces in it and fry till it turns golden.

When the paneer is fried well, take it out in a plate. Now add cloves, cinnamon, green cardamom, black cardamom, black pepper powder to the remaining ghee and fry while stirring the spices for 30 seconds. After this add ginger, garlic, Add finely chopped onion, green chilli and fry it while stirring on oil flame for two to three minutes. After this add tandoori masala, turmeric powder, cardamom powder and mix. After this add tomato puree and mix everything and fry for 5 minutes. After this, add cashew paste and salt as per taste to this mixture and mix well.
When this mixture is cooked well and starts releasing ghee, add cottage cheese in it and after cooking it for about 10 minutes, turn off the gas. Now take a vessel and put it on the gas on low flame. First put one-third rice in the vessel and spread the first layer. Add half the cheese mixture over it and make a second layer. Then spread another layer of rice on top of the cheese layer. Similarly, for the second time, spread the second layer of the remaining cheese mixture over the rice and finally spread the last layer of rice on top.
Now spread fried onion, mint leaves and coriander leaves over the rice. Now cover the vessel with foil paper or lid and then let it cook on low flame for at least 15 minutes. In this way, delicious Paneer Biryani is ready for your dinner. This will increase the taste of your food manifold.
