Kanpur. On November 5, an important meeting of the steering committee of the Samajwadi Party Sisamau Assembly by-election was held under the chairmanship of SP Metropolitan President Haji Fazal Mahmood at the parade in front of the Central Election Office PPN Market. The meeting was conducted by Metropolitan Senior Vice President Shailendra Yadav Mintu. In the meeting of the Governing Committee, all the members put forth their views regarding their future strategy to win the by-election. It was decided in the meeting that in this election we should follow the election code of conduct with full honesty and hold meetings and street meetings in Sisamau Assembly. Intensive public relations meetings will have to be organized
We should not violate the election code of conduct in any way and the PDA mission has to go to the door of every voter of the assembly and peacefully inform the voters about our plans and policies of SP because the ruling party is trying to protect our leaders and workers from the police administration. We will have to respond to the harassment peacefully and will have to file a complaint with the Election Commission along with proof of the atrocities and harassment being carried out by the administration.
While presiding over the steering committee, Metropolitan President Haji Fazal Mahmood said in his address that we have to implement all the resolutions passed in this meeting. We have to stop the action taken by the BJP government of the state against former MLA Haji Irfan Solanki. By making the public aware of the harassment and atrocities, the public is going to press the button of the bicycle on the day of voting on 20th November to ensure victory of SP candidate Smt. Naseem Solanki with huge votes. We have to appeal to the people and also make the public aware of the schemes and achievements of the SP regime because the ruling parties are conspiring to influence the voting by spreading false rumors. We have to be very careful not to pay attention to the false rumors. We have to keep our fingers crossed till the day of voting. We will have to create an atmosphere in favor of SP by spending maximum time among the public.
