7 arrested for selling weapons online in UP

Latest News :- A complaint of illegal online sale of weapons was received in Muzaffarnagar, UP. The five-member gang used Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp to sell weapons. Gun buyers are first sent information along with photos and prices. After receiving the money through the bank, they would hand over the weapons to the customers at a secret location. Fake guns and foreign guns made in UP, Bihar are being sold.

A simple fake gun is sold for Rs 5,000 and a pistol for Rs 50,000. Up to catch them. Police have sent out information on Instagram for people planning to buy a handgun. Then the police surrounded the people who had come to give the guns and arrested them. During the investigation, 7 people including 2 customers have been arrested. Muzaffar Nagar SP Satyanarayan Prajapati says that 5 fake guns, 3 foreign guns, a bike and a car have been recovered from them. They are in contact with similar selling gangs in neighboring districts.
