Both bikes have the same engine: it’s the new 90º V2 with variable timing for the intake valves, compliant with Euro 5+ emissions standards. It has a displacement of 890 cubic centimeters and is capable of delivering 120 hp. At the same time, there is a version limited to 35 kW, suitable for A2 license holders.

This is Ducati’s latest two-cylinder engine, and an optional racing exhaust can be added, increasing the power to 126 hp. There are three power modes: High, Medium, and Low (95 hp).

Efficient ciclistics

The fully adjustable suspension includes Marzocchi forks in the front and Kayaba shocks in the rear. The V2 S versions are equipped with Öhlins forks and shocks. The Streetfighter V2’s swingarm is 30mm longer than the Panigale V2’s, and it also features a standard Sachs steering damper.

Braking is managed by dual semi-floating discs with Brembo M50 radial monobloc calipers in front and a single disc with a two-piston caliper in the rear, with Bosch Cornering ABS on both wheels.

Electronics

Both bikes feature a six-axis IMU that underpins a suite of electronics for enhanced road and track safety. In addition to Cornering ABS with slide-by-brake functionality, the electronics include Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, and engine brake control, along with the Ducati Quick Shift 2.0, also found on the Panigale V4.

Standard on the S versions are Ducati Power Launch and Pit Limiter. The five-inch TFT display with a Panigale V4-derived interface offers three display modes (Road, Road Pro, and Track).

Riders can choose from four preset riding modes (Race, Sport, Road, and Wet), all customizable for control and engine response.

The Panigale V2 is Ducati’s latest step in its line of twin-cylinder sports bikes, with styling influenced by the Panigale V4. It’s the lightest Panigale yet, weighing 179 kg (176 kg for the S version).

Inside the fairing, a passive ventilation system channels cool air to the rider while diverting hot air from the radiator. The front end features full-LED headlights with dual daytime running lights, echoing the Panigale V4’s design.

The fuel tank is crafted to support riders during sporty rides, with an ergonomic triangle that eases pressure on the wrists. The rear end is reminiscent of both the Panigale V4 and the iconic 916, featuring a split full-LED tail light and dual under-seat exhausts. Y-profile spoked wheels reinterpret the classic Marchesini three-spoke design.

As a naked model, the Streetfighter V2 incorporates the Fight Formula, optimized for high performance on the track. It has a wide, tall handlebar and lacks a full fairing. Weighing in at 178 kg (175 kg for the S version), it’s the lightest Streetfighter yet.

With a central mass toward the front, the Streetfighter V2 boasts agility, stability, and precision, making it track-ready yet enjoyable and versatile for daily use.

It shares several components with the Panigale V2, including the fuel tank, seat, rear fairing, and lightweight alloy wheels, along with a refreshed front end featuring full-LED headlights and daytime running lights.
