Sharda Sinha’s last wish could not be fulfilled, folk singer had told her heart’s feelings to her son

Bihar’s folk singer Sharda Sinha has said goodbye to the world at the age of 72. Sharda Sinha had made a place in the hearts of millions of people with her melodious voice. The sound which used to make the great festival of Chhath abuzz has now stopped forever. Sharda Sinha was known as Kokila of Bihar. Sharda Sinha said goodbye to this world on the very first day of Chhath Puja. Before doing the same, Sharda Sinha had also told her last wish to her son, although her last wish could not be fulfilled.

Told my last wish to my son

Sharda Sinha’s son Anshuman Singh told about his mother’s last wish that she wanted to leave this world to her husband. Sharda Sinha had told her last wish to her son Anshuman that she wanted to leave this world married. However his wish could not be fulfilled. Her husband Brajkishore had said goodbye to this world just one and a half month ago. When her wish could not be fulfilled, she expressed her wish that her last rites should be performed at the same place where her husband was cremated.

The last rites of Bihar’s folk singer Sharda Sinha will be performed at the same place where her husband Brij Kishor was cremated. Tomorrow (Thursday), his funeral will be held with state honors at Gulbi Ghat in Patna. From Kumar Vishwas to the Prime Minister of the country have expressed grief over the demise of Sharda Sinha.
