Skoda Kylac launched in India at Rs 7.89 lakh
Delhi Delhi: Skoda India has launched its first entry-level sub-4 meter compact SUV, the Kylaq in India at Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the Skoda Kylac will begin from December 2, 2024, and deliveries of the SUV will begin from January 27, 2024. The Kylac is powered by a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine and its fuel efficiency is claimed at 20 km/litre. This SUV from Skoda will compete in the sub-4 meter compact SUV segment, which includes Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Sonet and more. The front profile of the SUV has a split headlight setup like the Kushaq and a dual-tone treatment on the bumper.

Skoda Kylac Price and Competition:
Skoda Kylac prices start at Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The full price list will be released on December 2, 2024. For the general public, the car will be showcased at the India Mobility Expo in January 2025.
Skoda Kylak Exterior Design:
The exterior design of Skoda Kylak is similar to Kushaq. Its front profile is bold and it has a split setup for the headlights. It has Skoda's signature grille and the fog lamps are integrated with the headlights. From the side, it has 17-inch alloy wheels and is less than four meters long. The windows are quite large, providing a better ambiance inside the cabin. At the rear, it has LED taillamps and black bumpers, which give it a sporty look. The taillamps bear Skoda branding, there is a rear wiper and it has a shark-fin antenna.
Skoda Kylak Interior:
The interiors of the Skoda Kylak are new and updated. It has the same steering wheel design as the Kushaq, with a knurled finish for the steering-mounted controls. The dashboard comes with a dual-tone treatment and a new design for the AC vents.

The feature list of Skoda Kylak is good. For starters, it gets ventilated front seats, sunroof, wireless charger, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and more. The front center armrest is a must-have feature that drivers appreciate.
Skoda Kylak Engine Specifications:
The Skoda Kylac is powered by a 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine that produces 115 BHP and 178 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic torque converter gearbox. The claimed 0-100 km/h time of the Skoda Kylak is 10.5 seconds.
