Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vijendra Gupta on Tuesday said that the Central Vigilance Commission has sought a factual report from CPW on alleged irregularities in the reconstruction of the Chief Minister's bungalow on Flagstaff Road. BJP called it Sheeshmahal and demanded an investigation.

On Tuesday, Leader of Opposition Vijendra Gupta said that the investigation into illegal construction and financial irregularities in the CM residence has been sent by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) to the Central Public Works Department, on whose factual report appropriate action will be taken. Vijendra Gupta told that on October 14, a complaint was given to CVC, in which a demand was made to investigate the construction on Six Flag Staff Road.
Gupta said that on his complaint, the Central Vigilance Commissioner has sought an investigation report from the CPWD because he alleged that the construction work was done here by ignoring the rules, for which there was no relevant permission. His allegation was that this was corruption and misuse of public money.
