Paneer Kulcha Recipe: Dishes made from paneer are liked by everyone in every house. Be it children or adults, everyone eats it with great enthusiasm. And one such dish of Punjabis is very famous, whose name is Kulcha. Kulcha is made in many ways, in which plain Kulcha, Gobi Kulcha, Mix Veg Kulcha are quite famous. And one of its varieties is Paneer Kulcha. Everyone likes it because it is filled with cheese. So if you want to cook something different at home, then today we will tell you the recipe of making Paneer Kulcha.

Paneer Kulcha Recipe: Ingredients

  • Flour – 2 cups
  • Baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking soda – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Milk – 1/2 cup
  • Curd – 1 tablespoon
  • Oil – as required
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 1 teaspoon

Ingredients for Stuffing

  • Grated cheese – 200 grams
  • Coriander leaves – 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped ginger – 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped Tomato – 1/4 cup
  • Chopped onion – 1/2 cup
  • Finely chopped capsicum – 1/4 cup
  • Chopped green chilli – 1 teaspoon
  • Mustard – 1 teaspoon
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Ground black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp
  • Ghee – 2 tbsp
  • Cumin – 1 teaspoon
  • Chaat masala powder – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Dry mango powder – 1/4 tbsp
  • Salt – as required
  • Green chutney – 1 teaspoon

Paneer Kulcha Recipe: Method

1- First of all, take out the flour in a big bowl. Then add baking powder, baking soda, sugar, milk, curd and mix well.

2-Now add water as required and knead a smooth dough. Mix 2 spoons of oil in the flour and cover it with a slightly wet cloth.

3- Keep it aside for an hour. On the other hand, heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and fry it lightly.

4- After this add onion, tomato, salt, ginger, green chilli, capsicum, black pepper powder and fry for a few minutes. Mix the mixture and leave it to cool.

– Once the mixture cools down, add grated cheese. Add some chaat masala powder and dry mango powder in it.

5- Mix it well and then add tomato ketchup, chopped coriander and salt. Now apply some oil on the palms and take a ball of dough and roll it into small pieces.

– If necessary, put a little dry flour on it while rolling to prevent it from sticking. Take one tablespoon of cheese mixture and place it in the center.

6- Seal all the sides of the dough circles. Apply some oil on each ball and keep it aside for 15 minutes.

7- Now press it gently and level its surface from both the sides. Using a rolling pin, roll it like a paratha, but avoid applying too much pressure.

8- Heat the pan on medium flame. Put Kulcha on it and apply some ghee and cook it on medium flame only.

9- Cook until both sides are golden and crisp. Then cut it and serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.
