Royal Brunei Airlines launches direct flight to Chennai
CHENNAI Chennai: Royal Brunei Airlines on Tuesday launched its new direct flight between Bandar Seri Begawan and Chennai, the airline's only destination in India. This new service marks the airline's re-entry into India following the suspension of its flights between Singapore and Kolkata following the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York. A one-way ticket for business class travel will be priced at Rs 86,811 and a round-trip will be priced at Rs 133,679. Chennai will be the carrier's only destination in India. The flight time is approximately five and a half hours. On Tuesday and Thursday, the flight will depart from Brunei at 8 pm and land in Chennai at 11:50 pm; Then it will reach Brunei at 7:55 am the next day. On Saturday, the flight will land in Chennai at 4:20 am and reach back to Brunei at 12:25 pm.
