Jalaj Saxena's feat in Ranji Trophy, became the first player in domestic cricket to achieve such a feat.

sports desk : Ranji Trophy organized by BCCI has started. Three matches have been played so far this season. While the fourth match is being played from 6th November. Jalaj Saxena has achieved a huge achievement in Ranji Trophy. He has become the first player in the history of Ranji Trophy to take 400 wickets and 6000 runs. Jalaj Saxena achieved this feat while playing against Uttar Pradesh. Off-spinner Jalaj Saxena confused the Uttar Pradesh team with his spin.

Jalaj Saxena took five wickets in the first innings. Jalaj dismissed Aryan Juyal for 23 runs and Madhav Kaushik for 13 runs. After that, he completed his 29th five-wicket haul by dismissing Siddharth for 19 runs, Nitish Rana for 25 runs and Piyush Chawla for 10 runs. By dismissing Nitish Rana, he completed his 400th wicket in Ranji Trophy.

BCCI Domestic's Twitterati congratulated Jalaj Saxena for this achievement. While tweeting, he wrote that Jalaj Saxena became the first player to take 6000 runs and 400 wickets in Ranji Trophy. This is a milestone for them.

Jalaj Saxena has become the 13th player to take 400 wickets in Ranji Trophy. During the last season, he became the fourth player to take 9000 runs and 600 wickets in all formats of domestic cricket. Jalaj has so far scored 101 runs in two matches at an average of 50.50. Which also includes a half-century. During this period he has taken 13 wickets in four innings.

Jalaj Saxena started his cricket career from Madhya Pradesh. Made his debut in Madhya Pradesh in 2005. He scored 4041 runs and took 159 wickets for Madhya Pradesh. After this, in 2016-17, Jalaj started playing for Kerala. Jalaj has scored 6795 runs in 143 first class matches. This includes 14 centuries and 33 half-centuries. Jalaj has also taken 452 wickets. Which includes five wickets 30 times and ten wickets eight times.
