AIPF National President S. R. Darapuri has said in a statement issued to the press that the Supreme Court has canceled the decision of the Allahabad High Court to declare this Act unconstitutional as it violates secularism and it restricts the minorities to run their own educational institutions and provide religious education. The constitutional rights have been maintained.
In its decision, the Supreme Court has considered only higher education outside the Madrasa Act. All India People's Front supports the constitutional rights of minorities and requests the present government to ensure easy enjoyment of their rights.
