Vivo S20 series will be launched this month, claimed to have 6,500 mAh battery

VivoVivo may launch the S20 lineup later this month which includes Vivo S20, Vivo S20 Pro. According to a latest leaked report, the series will include two devices named S20 and S20 Pro. One of the Vivo S20 series devices is said to have a massive 6,500 mAh battery. Additionally, both flagship models will feature ultra-thin bodies (less than 8 mm) like their predecessor Vivo S19 series. This will make the phone stand out even more as higher capacity devices usually have heavier bodies.

Reports have also indicated that the company will keep these in the mid-range category in the Chinese market. The company will eventually release them in the global market as the Vivo V series. There may be some minor changes in the feature list compared to the Chinese model. This means we can see what to expect from the Vivo V50 and V50 Pro once the S20 and S20 Pro go official.

Thanks to leaked reports, we also know what to expect. Both devices may feature AMOLED screens with 1260p resolution. The processor on the base model of the S20 series is expected to be Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, while Vivo will upgrade the S20 Pro to Dimensity 9300. We've previously seen a third, even cheaper variant, but it looks like that's not in the works for the Vivo S20e just yet.
