Google Jarvis AI Accidentally Leaked! AI That Can Control Your Computers

Google has been secretly working on an AI project which aims to take control of your computer. While it may seem scary, but it is already real. Google has accidentally leaked its Jarvis AI project via the Chrome Web Store. As per a report by The Information, a store page has previewed Jarvis’s prototype which suggests it to be a helpful companion to surf the web for you.

However, Google has removed the store page of Jarvis as it is yet to be officially revealed. Before the removal of the preview page of the Google Jarvis from the Web Store of Chrome, several managed to download the prototype, but they couldn’t use it as Jarvis needed access permission.

Earlier in October, some reports suggested that Google is developing Jarvis. Now, Google’s Jarvis AI is expected to be revealed in December, a report suggested. What exactly is this AI assistant? Read here.

Google Jarvis AI: What Is It

Google’s Jarvis AI isn’t going to be a common AI companion to help you know the weather or any information from the web, instead, it is said to help you in doing several tasks. For example, Google Jarvis AI may be able to buy groceries or book flight tickets for you. It will simply be able to take control of your computer to complete manual tasks.

Claude AI Computer Use: A Similar Take On Google’s Jarvis

However, this isn’t the first one to bring such an advanced AI companion to help you with several tasks across the computer. Recently, Anthropic launched new updated versions of its Claude AI large language model, dubbed “Computer Use,” which can perform various tasks based on just a text prompt by you. For example, it can capture multiple screenshots of a computer screen and help you answer the query based on the analysis of the images. Not only that, it can also search for the relevant information on the computer.

How different will be the Google’s Jarvis AI from the Anthropic’s Computer Use feature for the Claude AI? Thankfully, we won’t have to wait for long as the official launch is expected in December 2024.
