QS Asia Ranking 2025: Six Indian institutes in top 100 institutes of Asia, IIT Delhi ranked first in South Asia ranking, see list

QS Asia University Ranking 2025 : Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) website, which releases the ranking of top universities in the country and the world, has released the list of World University Ranking: Asia 2025. A total of 22 Indian institutions are included among 984 universities in the Asia University Rankings released by QS. Six Indian institutions have made it to the top 100 institutions of Asia. IIT Delhi has achieved the first rank, leaving behind IIT Bombay in the South Asia ranking.

India's Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IITD) has secured 44th position across Asia. After this, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) at 48th position and Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) at 56th position are the top 3 universities of the country to feature in the list.

The South Asian category includes universities from India and Pakistan, with Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) securing the top rank among 308 universities. 7 Indian universities feature in the top 10 universities in the South Asian category. National University of Science and Technology (NUST) Islamabad shares the 6th position with Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) in the South Asian category.
