Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan received a death threat over a phone call. For this, a case has been registered at the Bandra Police Station in Mumbai. According to reports, the threat came from Faizan who claims to be a resident of Raipur, Chhattisgarh on 5 November. He demanded a huge ransom for Shah Rukh’s safety.
The case has been filed under multiple sections; however, details are still under investigation. In the wake of this threat, an investigation by the Mumbai Police has opened, and a team has been sent to Raipur.
After gaining massive popularity with back-to-back superhits Pathan and JawanShah Rukh Khan was provided Y+ security in October 2023, marking the third time after the threat against him. The birthday has reportedly gone without the appearance of the actor this year, not confirmed by his team amid security reasons.
The latest threat follows an identical ordeal that befell close friend and co-actor Salman Khan, with Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang threatening to kill him also. Both the actors have since been awarded Y+ security cover based on these risks.
While investigations continue, Shah Rukh Khan hasn’t spoken on the latest threat, but he and the authorities are doing everything necessary to ensure his safety.
