Kylian Mbappe ‘Frustrated’ at Real Madrid, Calls PSG Exit a Mistake
Kylian Mbappe gets frustrated over his role at Real Madrid, calling his exit from PSG a big mistake. Madrid suffers a slump in form, as the team loses their previous match against AC Milan at Home.
Kylian Mbappe completed the much-anticipated move to Real Madrid in the summers and fans anticipated this transfer to be beneficial for the team. However, it has not been expected for both Real Madrid and Mbappe, as they have been experiencing a slump in form in the UCL.
The defending champions lost the El Clasico game against their arch-rivals Barcelona by 4-0 and even got a loss against AC Milan in a home game by 3-1. The recent defeat at home marked their second loss in the four games they have played in the Champions League so far.
Several reports even say that Kylian Mbappe is now frustrated with the team, as he is being forced to play another role, affecting his natural gameplay. Mbappe has also said that he is not able to see himself playing as a striker for the team.
This has been a concerning situation for Carlo Ancelotti, as Kylian Mbappe is not looking forward to playing as the centre forward. He does not have other options for the same, as Mbappe and Vinicius Junior are looking forward to the same position on the left flank.
Karim Benzema, who has been a part of Real Madrid earlier, said,“The problem, in my opinion, is that is not a central striker, even with the national team, every time he plays as a number nine he doesn’t feel right, because that’s not his position.”
