Obnews Digital Desk. After the arrival of Mahindra's five-door Thar Roxx, the waiting period of the three-door Mahindra Thar has now reduced. Now you can buy this SUV with a discount of up to Rs 3 lakh. Let us tell you that last month i.e. in October, a discount of Rs 1 lakh 60 thousand was given on this SUV, but now the discount has been doubled.
Which offer on which car?
The report claims that the discount depends on the stock of the dealership. Apart from this, the highest discount on Thar is available on the special edition model Thar Earth Edition. Mahindra Thar will be given to you in 4*4 and 4*2 options. This SUV is being provided with a 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol engine, which generates a power of 150 bhp.
On the other hand, the diesel variant generates power of 130 bhp and both the models are available in 6 speed manual and automatic transmission options. The 4*2 variant has a 1.5 liter diesel engine, which generates power of 116 bhp and the model will come with a 6 speed manual gearbox.

Mahindra Thar waiting period
Before the launch of the five-door Thar Rocks, the waiting period of Thar was quite high, but now the waiting period of the 4*4 model has been reduced to less than 3 months. One thing has become clear from this that three door customers will shift towards five door Thar Rocks. While on one hand the waiting period of the three door Thar has been reduced, on the other hand the waiting period of some variants of the 5 door model has also been increased to 18 months.

Mahindra Thar 3 Door Price in India
Mahindra Thar price starts from Rs 11 lakh 35 thousand. This price is for the base variant of this SUV. On the other hand, the price of the top variant of this SUV goes up to Rs 17 lakh 60 thousand. In this price range, Thar SUV has direct competition with vehicles like Maruti Suzuki Jimny and Force Gurkha.
