Nepal Autumn Mountaineering Season: 1,270 mountaineers got permission to climb 45 peaks in Nepal

Nepal Autumn Mountaineering Season  : The tourism department of the Himalayan nation of Nepal announced on Thursday that 1,270 climbers have been given permission to climb 45 mountains in the autumn mountaineering season. Of the total, 463 have been given permission to climb Mount Ama Dablam, 308 to Mount Manaslu and 144 to climb Mount Himlung Himal.

According to the report, these climbers, including 289 women, are from 73 countries and territories. Rakesh Gurung, director of the department, said, “We are still receiving some enquiries. “The numbers will increase slightly in the coming weeks.” Nepal has earned $575,253 in royalties from issuing the permits. The autumn climbing season in Nepal starts in September and continues till November.
