South African captain Laura Wolvaardt also strengthens the Giants' line-up. A prolific batsman, Wolvaardt recently led her team to the final of the T20 World Cup, becoming the tournament's leading run-scorer with 224 runs. Australia's young talent Phoebe Litchfield is also another important addition to the team.
