Now BJP leader Nishikant Dubey said that the party board wanted Murmu to contest against Hemant Soren from Barhet assembly seat. But he had refused.

Nishikant Dubey further said that 'Mandal Murmu felt that he should make some sacrifice. The number of tribals is decreasing. The number of Bangladeshi Muslims is increasing, there is a need to protest against this. Need to attack. For this reason he refused to contest the elections.
BJP wanted him to contest elections in Barhet. But the person said that I am a supporter of Hemant Soren, I will not contest the elections. But by joining BJP, I will participate in the movement against Bangladeshi infiltrators and the decreasing number of tribals.

Here, a threat was also posted in a WhatsApp group in the name of Mandal Murmu. It was written that the person who beheaded Mandal Murmu would be awarded Rs 50 lakh. The police have arrested an accused in this case.
