Ovens Have Been Recalled Nationwide Due to Fire Hazard

There’s an active recall on approximately 45,400 ovens sold in the U.S. and Canada, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. This is due to the affected ovens posing a fire hazard.

The impacted ovens (specifically the oven ranges) are the Wolf branded dual fuel ranges with infrared griddles. The following products and model numbers are a part of this recall:

  • 36” Dual Fuel Range—4 Burners and Infrared Griddle with model number DF36450G/BK/P, DF36450G/BK/P/LP, DF36450G/S/P, DF36450G/S/P/LP or DF36450G/WH/P
  • 48” Dual Fuel Range—4 Burners and Infrared Griddle with model number DF48450DG/BK/P, DF48450DG/S/P, DF48450DG/S/P/LP or DF48450DG/WH/P
  • 48” Dual Fuel Range—4 Burners, Infrared Charbroiler and Infrared Griddle with model number DF48450CG/BK/P, DF48450CG/BK/P/LP, DF48450CG/S/P, DF48450CG/S/P/LP or DF48450CG/WH/P
  • 48” Dual Fuel Range—6 Burners and Infrared Griddle with model number DF48650G/BK/P, DF48650G/BK/P/LP, DF48650G/S/P, DF48650G/S/P/LP, DF48650G/WH/P or DF48650G/WH/P/LP
  • 60” Dual Fuel Range—6 Burners and Infrared Griddle with model number DF60650DG/BK/P, DF60650DG/BK/P/LP, DF60650DG/S/P or DF60650DG/S/P/LP
  • 60” Dual Fuel Range—6 Burners, Infrared Charbroiler and Infrared Griddle with model number DF60650CG/BK/P, DF60650CG/S/P or DF60650CG/S/P/LP

The model number can be found on the rating plate underneath the top of the oven. They were sold at home appliance stores nationwide between August 2020 through September 2024.

This recall was announced after 36 reports of the griddle ranges turning on unexpectedly.
