Nissan: Japanese automobile company Nissan has decided to lay off 9,000 employees simultaneously. According to AFP report, Nissan has also reduced its sales forecast for the financial year 2024-25. According to the company, due to layoffs on such a large scale, global production may decrease by 20%.
Nissan: Falling profits and change in strategy
Nissan's CEO said that the company's net profit in North America has fallen by 93% in the first six months of this year. Due to this, the company is estimating net sales of 12.7 trillion yen (about 80 billion dollars), which is less than the earlier estimate of 14 trillion yen. The company said that to handle the current situation, it is making necessary changes in its strategy so that it can rapidly respond to market changes.
Magnite's new facelift model in India
Recently Nissan has launched Magnite facelift in India, which comes with modern and dynamic design. The new model has been introduced with “Sunrise Copper Orange” color. Some new features like cluster ionizer have also been included in this facelift model.
Engine and Mileage: The new Magnite has a 1.0-litre turbo engine which gives a mileage of 20 kmpl with manual transmission and 17.4 kmpl with CVT.
price: Nissan has not made any change in the price of this facelift. Its ex-showroom price starts from Rs 5.99 lakh.
