Before Shah Rukh Khan, this superstar had got the offer to buy Mannat, but rejected the offer because…
This superstar was first offered Shah Rukh Khan’s Mumbai bungalow but he rejected the offer due to personal reasons. Here are the details.
A visit to Mumbai often includes a stop at Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic residence, Mannat, where taking a picture in front of the gate has become a must-do for fans. This tradition has turned Mannat into a landmark, making it an essential part of a complete Mumbai trip. Wondering about its backstory? Mannat, a stunning six-story estate located on Bandstand, blends modern and vintage design elements to create an opulent seafront home. Shah Rukh Khan’s wife, Gauri Khan, an accomplished interior designer, designed even the property’s nameplate, adding a personal touch.
The house originally called Villa Vienna reportedly cost SRK Rs 13.32 crore when he bought it, although it’s now considered priceless due to its legacy and location. Now the property is worth Rs 200 crore. But do you know before Shah Rukh Khan, the property was offered to Salman Khan. Yes, you read it right.
In an interview, Salman Khan was asked what is that thing that Shahrukh Khan has that he wanted to see with him. On this, Salman Khan said that Shahrukh Khan’s bungalow cum office is named Mannat. Salman Khan told that the offer to buy Mannat came to him before Shahrukh Khan.
At that time, Salman Khan’s career was soaring, and he too had an eye on the luxurious Mannat property. However, his father, Salim Khan, reportedly said, “What will you do with such a big house?” Following his father’s advice, Salman decided not to purchase the property.
Built in over 27,000 square feet, Shah Rukh Khan’s Mumbai home Mannat has five bedrooms, a cutting-edge fitness center, a gorgeous pool, an opulent library, Shahrukh’s office, an amazing patio, and a private movie theater. Every room in the house is tastefully decorated by Gauri Khan.
