1,400 men arrested for traveling in women's train

Latest News :- Railway security forces have arrested over 1,400 male passengers traveling in ladies coaches and ladies special trains in the Eastern Railway zone and registered cases against them. An announcement has been made that if men board the ladies coaches and ladies special trains in trains running in the Eastern Railway zone, they can call 139 and seek help from railway officials.

On the basis of complaints received in this regard, Railway Protection Force Police took intensive action throughout the last month. More than 1,400 men traveling in women's compartments were arrested and booked. There is a provision for fine and jail sentence for them in the Railway Act.
