'No one should have such a downfall', fans got angry after seeing Yuji Chahal on Samay Raina's show
Leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who is out of the Indian cricket team, is once again in the headlines. He has not played for Team India for a long time and it does not seem that he is going to be seen in Team India any time soon. Actually, 33-year-old Chahal is currently seen focusing on other activities more than cricket and that is why he is also being trolled.
It has been more than one and a half years since Chahal played an international match. His last match for India was in August 2023. Although he remained a part of the team, he was not selected in the final playing eleven for the matches including the T20 World Cup. Chahal also missed selection for India's recent T20 series against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. His absence from the team has forced many to question his future in international cricket.
Recently Chahal appeared in India's Got Latent show, where he was seen having fun with comedian Samay Raina. The show is known for its witty and informal atmosphere, which seems to be a new interest for Chahal. However, some fans did not like his appearance in such a show and expressed their anger on social media.
However, many fans came out in support of Chahal and said that a professional cricketer has a life beyond cricket and one should not judge anyone. With his playful presence on the show, Chahal's cricket career is taking another turn. Recently, Rajasthan Royals (RR) decided not to retain him for IPL 2025. Along with Chahal, RR also decided not to retain big names like Jos Buttler and Ravichandran Ashwin. This decision has surprised many cricket pundits and fans.
