AUS vs PAK, Second ODI: Historic feat of Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan in ODI

Delhi: The Pakistani cricket team is currently on a tour of Australia, where a series of three ODI matches is being played. Rizwan has become the second wicketkeeper for Pakistan in ODI to take 6 catches in a match. Earlier in 2015, Sarfaraz Ahmed had achieved this feat, but he was not the captain then. As a captain, Rizwan has made this record in his name and for the first time in the history of Pakistani cricket, a captain has taken so many catches in one innings of an ODI match. Although Rizwan also had a chance to set a world record, he could not achieve it due to a missed catch.

The Australian innings was disappointing, because no batsman was successful in playing a big innings. Steve Smith scored the maximum of 35 runs, which he scored in 48 balls. Matthew Short contributed 19 runs, but overall the team was limited to 163 runs in 35 overs. Pakistan now has a golden opportunity to level the series. By winning this match, they will try their best to level the series at 1-1.
