Page Industries released quarterly results, achieved 30 percent increase in profit.

New Delhi : Apparel manufacturing company Page Industries Limited has recently released its quarterly results. On the basis of which it has been revealed that the company has made profit in this current financial year. On the basis of this report, it has been revealed that this company has achieved a net profit of 30 percent in the second quarter of the current financial year 2024-25 i.e. from July to September.
After this increase, the net profit figure has increased to Rs 195.25 crore. Apart from this, it has also been revealed from these figures that in the same quarter of the last financial year i.e. from July to September, the net profit of the company was Rs 150.27 crore.

Page Industries Limited i.e. PIL has given information to the stock market on Thursday. According to this information, the company's operational income increased by 11.06 percent to Rs 1,246.27 crore in the second quarter of the current financial year, whereas it was Rs 1,122.11 crore in the same period a year ago. PIL said in its income statement that the sales volume has increased by 6.7 percent compared to last year, reaching 5.52 crore 'pieces'.

Significant increase in operating profit

Additionally, stable raw material costs and improved operating efficiency have contributed to a significant increase in operating profit. Page Industries' total expenses increased by 7.54 percent to Rs 998.34 crore in the second quarter. Total income, which includes other income and financial income, increased by 11.9 percent to Rs 1,260.82 crore during this period. Managing Director V.S. Ganesh said that our operating profit has remained strong due to our focus on operational efficiency, cost control and strategic 'sourcing' initiatives.

Exclusive license for Indian market

Page Industries has 'Exclusive License' from Jockey International Inc. (USA) for manufacturing, distribution and marketing in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Oman, Qatar, Maldives, Bhutan and United Arab Emirates (UAE). It also has the 'exclusive license' of Speedo International, an Australian-British company that manufactures swimwear and swimming accessories, for the Indian market.
