Rahul Gandhi said, BJP-RSS want to snatch water, forest and land by calling you a forest dweller, whereas you have the first right on it.

While addressing the public meeting in Simdega on Friday in Jharkhand Assembly Elections, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has made a big attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party government at the Centre. He said that today there is a fight between two ideologies going on in the country. He said that on one hand, while the people of INDIA Alliance are protecting the Constitution, on the other hand, BJP and RSS want to destroy the Constitution. The Constitution is not just a book. It contains the thinking of Birsa Munda ji, Ambedkar ji, Phule ji and Mahatma Gandhi ji. This Constitution protects the tribals, Dalits, backward people and poor of the country. Shri Gandhi said that therefore INDIA Alliance wants that the country should be run through the Constitution.

Rahul Gandhi said that we call you 'tribal', but BJP calls you 'forest dweller'. The British also called you forest dwellers, then Birsa Munda ji fought with the British to protect your water, forests and land. Shri Gandhi said that today we are also fighting for your rights. BJP wants to snatch your water, forests and land, that is why it calls you forest dweller. He said that tribal means first owner of the country. Whereas being a forest dweller means that you have no rights in the country. But you are a tribal and you have the first right on the country.

He said that you will not find the word 'forest dweller' anywhere in the Constitution. Those who made the Constitution also used the word 'tribal' instead of forest dweller. Because they wanted to say that the real owners of water, forests and land are the tribals. Birsa Munda ji also fought for the same water, forest and land. Today the fight is to save the Constitution. On one side there are those people who call you tribal and respect you. On the other hand, there are those people who call you a forest dweller and want to snatch whatever is yours.

Rahul Gandhi said that there are about 50% OBC, 15% Dalit, 8% tribal and 15% minority community people in the country. This population is 90% of the total. But you will not find a person from OBC, Dalit and tribal class in the management of big companies of the country. The government of India is run by 90 officers, these officers take decisions about the entire budget of the country. If one of these officers belongs to the tribal category, then out of the Rs 100 spent by the government, that tribal officer takes a decision of 10 paise.

Shri Gandhi said that wherever the people of BJP go, they make one brother fight with another brother, one religion with another religion, one language with another language. Manipur has been burning for so many days, but the Prime Minister has not gone there till date, because violence had spread there because of his ideology. That's why we did 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', in which the slogan was – 'We will open a shop of love in the market of hatred'. So that the people of India live together with love.

Rahul Gandhi said that there is no participation of Dalits, backward people and tribals in the country. People belonging to Dalit, backward and tribal sections of the country are capable. There is no flaw in you. You can do any kind of work, but your path is blocked. When I raised the issue of caste census in Parliament, Narendra Modi became silent. I want 90% of the people of the country to participate, but BJP wants the country to be run by a few people like Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and Ambani-Adani.
