Adani Group's mcap rises by Rs 54,381 crore to Rs 161 crore
New Delhi New Delhi: Share prices of all Adani Group companies rose on Wednesday, adding wealth worth Rs 54,381.06 crore to investors. The market capitalization (MCAP) of Adani group companies increased to Rs 16 lakh crore. Shares of Adani Group companies surged, while NSE Nifty-50 recorded its best session since September 20 and BSE Sensex recorded its best session since October 28. Nifty-50 closed 270.75 points or 1.12 per cent higher at 24,484.05 and Sensex closed 901.50 points or 1.13 per cent higher at 80,378.13. Earlier on Wednesday, Adani Energy Solutions rose 7.48 percent to Rs 1,090.95 per share, while Adani Green Energy rose 5.46 percent to Rs 1,733.95 per share.
This comes after Nuwama forecast that Adani Energy Solutions could be included in the MSCI index in a restructuring expected to take place in November. Adani Enterprises Ltd also gained 5.3 per cent to Rs 3,070 per share and closed 4.48 per cent higher. The stock has gained 35.63 percent in the last one year. Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd rose 3.96 per cent to Rs 1,328, while Adani Total Gas Ltd gained 4.15 per cent. Both the shares closed 3.06 per cent and 2.8 per cent higher respectively. Adani Power Ltd also saw a rise of 3.9 per cent and closed at Rs 616.30, up 2.13 per cent. The stock has gained 56.42 percent in the last one year. ACC Ltd and Ambuja Cements Ltd closed nearly 2 per cent higher at Rs 2,359.55 and Rs 582.65, respectively. Sanghi Industries Ltd and Adani Wilmar Ltd remained flat and closed with gains of 0.67 per cent and 0.37 per cent respectively.
