Foreign Minister S Jaishankar is on Singapore tour, consensus reached on these issues during discussion on bilateral relations
Singapore: Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar is on Singapore tour these days. He met Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong and Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan on Friday. Discussed ways to take forward the bilateral partnership between the two countries i.e. India and Singapore. The talks between the two leaders focused on areas like industrial parks, innovation and semiconductors.
Jaishankar has reached Singapore on the second leg of his two-nation visit. Earlier he had visited Australia. He started his visit to Singapore by meeting Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong, he posted on social media platform X.

Partnership will increase in these areas
Discussed taking forward contemporary partnership between the two countries focusing on green energy, skills, industrial parks, innovation and semiconductors. He said in another post that I am always happy to meet my good friend Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan.

We appreciated the progress in our comprehensive strategic partnership. Also discussed about shared vision on regional and global development. During his one-day visit, Jaishankar also addressed the eighth round table conference of ASEAN, the organization of South-East Asian countries – India Network of Think Tanks.
