EICMA 2024: Royal Enfield Bear 650 launched in India at Rs 3.39 lakh
Delhi Delhi: Royal Enfield has launched a new scrambler motorcycle Bear 650 in India, which shares its platform with the Interceptor 650. Bear 650 has been launched at Rs 3.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai) and comes with a 648cc parallel-twin petrol engine. The power output from the engine remains the same in this new entry from Royal Enfield, but the torque has now been increased and it has a single exhaust output. The Bear 650 weighs 2 kg less than the Interceptor 650.

Royal Enfield Bear 650 Price and Competition:
Royal Enfield has launched the Bear 650 in India at Rs 3.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai) and the price goes up to Rs 3.59 lakh depending on the color chosen by the customer. It competes with BSA Gold Star 650 in its segment.
Royal Enfield Bear 650 Design:
The design of the Royal Enfield Bear 650 is different from other 650cc motorcycles. First of all, it has round shaped LED headlights and indicators. There is a 19-inch tire with spoke wheels at the front and a 17-inch tire with a wide profile at the rear. Bear 650 has a ground clearance of 184mm.
Royal Enfield Bear 650 Suspension and Brakes:
Suspension duties are handled by 43 mm Showa upside-down forks with 130 mm of travel. New shock absorbers have been provided in the rear suspension, whose travel is 115mm. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm disc brake at the front and a 270mm disc brake at the rear. The Bear 650 weighs 216 kg, which is two kg lighter than the Interceptor 650.

Many features have been provided in Royal Enfield Bear 650. This bike has dual-channel switchable ABS, hazard lamps, Type-C charger port and a circular TFT display like other Royal Enfield motorcycles like the Himalayan and Guerrilla 450.

Royal Enfield Bear 650 has an oil and air-cooled 648cc parallel twin petrol engine. This engine generates 47 BHP and 56.5 Nm torque, which is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
